A Wee Dram or Three

Progress is slow....

..because I am on a very steep learning curve.  However, I now know more about HTML and CSS than I did a few weeks ago.

I now have to figure out how to smarten my website up a bit ..... lot!!

So now it is time to bury my head in the books and find out how to improve it.

Plodding on....

I'm still trying to get to grips with HTML/CSS.

So far I've managed to put up a page on my new domain...well....sorta.....at least I've got the hang of how to publish it!!!

Now I just have the simple tricky part of designing the******** thing!

Ah! well, I'm only 66 so I have quite a few years in front of me yet!

I should have it finished before I reach 90!

So, back to the lessons, see you soon.

My head hurts!

However, I shall overcome ALL challenges and learn these things.

I have managed to produce a simple web page so far, and am now in the process of "Livening it up a bit!"

A Room With a View

This is the view I woke up to on my camping trip:

Apart from some heavy rain, we all enjoyed the trip.

LP was in her element searching rock pools for starfish and crabs!

Plenty of beer and wine were sampled, along with a couple of wee drams.

Can't wait for the next visit!!

Ok, just for a few days.
I'm off camping again.
No phone! No internet! Just a canvas home, sun, sea and sand!(and a few beers, wine and whisky!)

Plus the company of Nephew, SWMBO and LP!

Who could ask for more.

Birthday BBQ Went Well!!

OK, so it was 2 days ago and I have just got round to posting.

Well, SWMBO and I conumed 3 bottles of Zin between us, and, on top of the few beers I had drunk earlier, Monday was on the missing list!!

LP borrowed my camera and went around the garden taking pictures of everything she could find! She took over 70 pictures, some good, some bad and some reasonable.  Not bad for a 5yr old!!

I haven't got around to downloading them yet but will do so as soon as I can, then I can share some of the results with you and you can judge for youselves.

Nephew didn't fully enjoy the day since he was "designated driver" and so couldn't partake of the abundant supply of alcohol which was on offer.
