My other Nephew, Paul and his Wife came up from Devon for a quick visit. They stopped by my home on Saturday for a chat. Paul and I were drinking Penderyn, a great Welsh whisky, and I introduced his wife to the fruity delights of Beringer Zin!
Then it was off to the pub to meet up with the rest of the tribe where we stopped a few beers from going bad!
Next was a barbeque follwed by a lot more beer and wine, finishing up back at my place for a couple of whiskies and more Zin.
Sunday snuck by without notice!!!!
Today, suitably sober and refreshed, I shall be picking the first of my Summer Fruits (if I can beat the snails and birds!). Yep, the first of my Strawberries are ready at last!! Bring on the fresh cream! Mmmmmmmmmm!
