I'm making a Venison Stew today. Very simple..just brown the meat in a little olive oil, throw it in the slow cooker, throw in some veg, fresh herbs from my garden, add some beef stock, season to taste, cover then switch on and forget for a few hours. Later on I will be adding some dumplings.
Next is laundry, throw it in machine, add detergent, switch on and forget.
While all this is taking care of itself, I shall pot a few plants, have a few beers and just let the world pass me by!
