Who? What? Why? When? Where?

Who?.....Me!
What?....Painting!
Why?.....It needed doing!
When?....All week and for the foreseable future!
Where?...At this moment in time it is my lounge!

Last time I decorated it was to cover up the horrible. sickly lime green walls. Consequently it was a rush job. i.e. it took a week or so.

This time I want it to look as near professional as I am capable of, so I am taking my time. Something I happen to have plenty of!!!

I am tackling the room in stages, roughly 1/4 at a time. This means that I don't have to move furniture any more than is neccesary and allows me to still use the room.

It also explains why I haven't been posting every day.

Theoretically, I should have the room painted in a couple of weeks, then I can order carpet.

I have just had a couple of pork chops and am on my third glass of Zin.  I am going to watch a DVD and then put some gloss paint on the woodwork.  That should be dry by morning when I can put the final coat of emulsion on the wall.

You're a better man than I, sir. I hate to move the furniture for any reason except moving (and I get big strong men to do that for me) or new furniture (ditto previous).

I'm using "Natural Hessian" and "Soft Stone" by Dulux.

"Cotton White" gloss for woodwork.

Carpet will be "Corn"
