Devon, Glorious Devon
Well, I have arrived!!
Let me just say that quite a few beers will be consumed!
I'll try and get some photos, but beer comes first!
Right, I'm off for a few right now, see y'all later!

Browsing BBC website, I came across this piece:
Hope he remembers how we helped him when he starts pointing his missiles!!
One Seven Seven Six.
Four little numbers that gave birth to a new country.
No longer a Colony of the British Empire.
A Country that wanted to stand on its own two feet.
All I can say, as I raise a glass or three, is......
God Bless America!
Happy fourth of July to all my American readers.
Cheers!
I've had a heck of a lot to do in my garden.
Grass cutting..Bush trimming...Fruit picking.
At the moment I am picking Strawberries and Raspberries. It has become a bit of a race - Me against the Skwerls!! So far I am ahead, but only just!!
Then there is the Patio. I had it finished and then, guess what? ... I decided it wasn't big enough! So, I now have another 20 square feet to lay.
The good news is that ASDA*Walmart still have beer and Beringer Zin on offer, so I have filled my fridge!! I now have 15 bottles of Zin and 30 cans plus 18 bottles of beer. That should keep me going for a day or two.
Weather wise, we're having what for us in the UK is classed as a heatwave, temps in the mid 70's to mid 80's. Just as well I have all that cool beer in the fridge!!
I still enjoy a wee dram or more, but not as often as usual since I am drinking lots of cool beer.
Next week I will be off to see Nephew Paul in glorious Devon. It's a trip of around 250 miles give or take an inch or two, so should take me around 5 hours including rest stops. I hope to get some good photos while I'm down there. Should brighten the Blog up a bit.
Right, I can here a noise from the fridge, sounds like a beer calling my name!!
Bye for now!
....but ASDA*Walmart had this offer on Beringer Zin. Normally it retails at £5.98 a bottle, but they had it on offer at 3 bottles for £10!!!! How on earth could I resist!! That's not all, they also had Trop on offer too!, so of course I indulged. The one item they just can't seem to get their heads around is McVities Rich Tea Biscuits(Cookies). they have a *value twin pack* on offer for £1.22, yet their single packs are £0.50. so you ignore the *Value Pack*, buy 2 single packs and save £0.22!!
Jeesh!!!!!! I should be in marketing.........
I need to get rid of some *things I'll just hang on to in case I need them* You know, you keep them for years and the only time you really need them is the day you got rid of them!!
So, it's off to the recycling yard with half my possessions. Just hope I can fit them all in the car!
Ah well, space is getting scarce around here so maybe it is time for a clean sweep!!
Once that is done , it will be back to planting. I have a whole bunch of plants in pots that really should be put in the ground.
Then I need to trim my bush, errrr, Buddlia, or Butterfly Bush, and my Leylandii needs a trim too!
It's making me tired just thinking about it. I think I'll just have a wee dram or four to help me.
Cheers.
I have decided to remove the aquarium widget since the company behind it say they will insert ads unless I go Pro. Since this would involve me paying them $39.99 for the privilege of not having their adverts, (I think they should pay me if they wish to advertise on my site!) I just removed it.
